Astley Kitchens & Bedrooms

As part of a bigger project, we were extending a kitchen fitted out fifteen years ago by Astley Kitchens; with the original cabinetry range still available and being keen to keep the original style, and Astley Kitchens having previously done such a marvellous job we approached Greg and Louise again. With the house in chaos and estimated final wall positions, plans were draw up to maximise existing cabinet use, and a delivery date for new items and a works week agreed; Greg remained calm and patient throughout. Then… …with new cabinetry order deadline just a single day away the supplier went into liquidation! Given we had project builder and subcontractor timelines to keep, we still needed the kitchen to be supplied and built on schedule. Louise went into overdrive… …within a week a new supplier was found and doors, cabinets and handles were matched. The order delay was godsend as the design reshuffled again to accommodate a shorter wall and additional space; and Greg continued to remained calm and patient! A schedule change with another customer brought forward our works date which fitted in perfectly with the builder. Josh and Ellis the fitters were experienced and tidy, seamlessly refitting old and new cabinetry; working as necessary alongside my electrician to accommodate built in appliances. I even went back to the tiler Greg had introduced to me fifteen years ago, and he was as good as ever. Result… We have the kitchen we wanted and on time.

Really cannot recommend Astley Kitchens enough. We originally had a quote from Howdens which was more expensive and after getting fed up with the hard sell I contacted Greg and Louise who measured up and after us changing the spec a dozen times our install dates were agreed. Every date given was met and the price was exactly as quoted with no hidden extras or increases. The install process was fully managed by Greg with all the trades being arranged. Every single person that worked on the kitchen was amazing. Gregs team of Josh, Terry, Elis & Will (and Louise doing the paperwork) met every one of our demands without argument or complaint, working supper efficiently and to the very highest standard. All the trades that did their part were just as friendly and quality as Gregs team, worktop guys, Wayne the plasterer, Will the electrician (and Pete), Andy the plumber and Justin floors all did the most amazing jobs and are all fantastic people. There is not a single part of the whole process from quote to completion we could fault and I would not hesitate to have the whole group do further work for us and our family. They all took the stress out of what was a pretty big task. If you are looking for a kitchen then I would definitely recommend speaking to Greg for a quote as you would not be disappointed on price, quality and project management. Thank you all so much guys. I recently renovated my kitchen to quartz worktops and added few extra cabinets, new sink and tap. The end result, the quality of materials and installation are stunning. After doing a great detail of research and going to different kitchen places. We were very impressed with Astley kitchen’s from the beginning. It was also recommended to us. Choosing the kitchen cupboards, work tops, handles, appliances and tiles etc. we had great deal of help and knowledge in choosing the right things for our needs. They were always available if needed for any help along the way. All the tradesmen that were connected to Astley kitchens were superb. This included electrician, plumber, plasterer, decorater and tiler etc. The whole schedule was organised by Greg and Louise. So made the whole renovation stress free. I thoroughly recommend them.
