Bauen Design

I am writing this in my new kitchen, it’s my favourite place in the house and I still smile whenever I walk into it! We arrived at Bauen having exhausted other ‘high-end’ kitchen designers and it became obvious very quickly that they lacked Licia’s vision and flair for design and function. Our kitchen presented a few challenges: a Victorian house, a north-facing often dark room and with no options of extending it. Licia understood that this was not only a remodelling job but a project of love and in memory of my parents. The design process was incredibly detailed and precise & Licia and Hollie incorporated everything that was important to us – including an enormous, room-dominating dining table! The installation team are an exceptionally talented group! Professional, punctual and extremely good at their jobs! As with all major projects, there can be snagging issues, but the ‘aftercare’ has been excellent, and any issues have been addressed immediately – thank you Paul! Cooking for family and friends is extremely important to me and although my new kitchen is stunning, it importantly delivers on function. I genuinely don’t believe that anyone but Bauen could have done this for me and would recommend them always.

We received a first class service from the team at Bauen Design. From our initial visit to the showroom to the completion of 2 projects, Licia and company were professional, friendly, creative and responsive. Licia expertly designed a beautiful functional kitchen from what was a bedroom, maximising space and light and a bathroom into a utility. She patiently incorporated our ideas into wonderfully detailed plans that could be visualised on screen. She has a great style and an eye for detail. The install was seamless with all trades working under Licia's instruction. Communication from the whole team was superb. 6 months have passed since our kitchen / utility was complete. We are delighted with the quality of the appliances and units. I can highly recommend Bauen Design and the products they offer.

Bauen Design did a truly outstanding job in designing and fitting our new kitchen. The job was fairly complicated in that it involved some elements taken from their showroom, new units and a refurbished unit taken from our previous kitchen. The design options produced by Licia gave us a real choice in how the kitchen would function.The installation was extremely well coordinated and all the trades worked to a very high standard. The installation took 3 weeks and everything worked to plan. Licia was available to ensure that we were very happy with the whole process. I can not recommend Bauen highly enough. They provide a superb service an outstanding product. The finished kitchen is absolutely beautiful and we are completely delighted with end product. The kitchen has been widely admired by everyone who has seen it. Completely delighted.

We had almost given up trying to find our dream Kitchen having spent weekends going around the mainstream Kitchen Companies who offered no inspiration or ideas, then we found Bauen Design and instantly knew the search was over. The quality of the products, the ideas, the planning and coordinating, the professionalism of Licia and the whole Team from start to finish made the upheaval of having a new Kitchen fitted a completely smooth and stress free experience. The Team went above and beyond when they were removing the old Kitchen, carrying out the joiner work, plaster work, plumbing and electrics preparing the space for the Installation of the new Kitchen, again all trades going above and beyond again. We consider ourselves to be very lucky having such a talented Team transforming our Kitchen. The house now feels like home thanks to the Bauen Design Team. Licia designed the kitchen in our flat last year. We had a good idea of what we were looking for and went along with our ideas. Licia has a great eye for detail and added fixtures and fittings that look great and make working in the kitchen organised and easy. She was always very accommodating, happy to spend time with us and answered any questions which made the whole process less stressful. The kitchen fit ran to time and the finished product is very good quality. We are really pleased with the work and love our kitchen. We would highly recommend Licia to anyone looking for a new kitchen.
