We approached Cherrywood Bespoke to create a new kitchen for our old cottage - a compact space without parallel or true vertical walls. We were immediately struck by Luke’s approach to the design challenge, the high level of craftsmanship and quality of materials. It was a pleasure working with the team to realise our vision of a classic Shaker design in the confines of the space with a simple and stylish aesthetic that met our budget. Luke’s eye for detail ensured that there were minimal issues when it came to the installation. We’re really pleased with the finished result. It delivers everything that we wanted to achieve and we have no hesitation in recommending Cherrywood Bespoke!

Yes, Luke and his team at Cherrywood Bespoke turn dreams into reality – but it’s not magic! We all worked really hard together. A couple of years ago we came to see Luke as we began planning how a new kitchen could form the heart of our house refurbishment. It was well worth arriving with fairly well worked-out plans, because Luke could immediately see the vision, and was quickly able to dig down into the detail. We were narrowing options, discussing pros & cons, and exploring prices and timescales early on. Where the rest of our build seemed to grind on ever more slowly, the kitchen was flying. Luke is a great listener and, at every stage, communication was just so fruitful – and such fun – that we had our suspicions he really loves his job. We were encouraged to visit the workshop when there were key decisions to be made, and Luke came to see us to size up the space and later tweak the design with us: we wanted a ‘tactile’ kitchen – one which felt as good to use as it was functional. ‘Bespoke’ meant two things to us before we started the project: fussy styling and unnecessary expense. Cherrywood Bespoke, though, is all about practical tailoring and carefully calibrated costs. We’ve ended up with a kitchen which has been painstakingly personalised – for cooking and socialising, as well as our pockets. At the moment, kitchens are hot – the central focus for home design – and estate agents tell us that a stylish, intuitive kitchen offers the highest return on our investment – potentially the biggest selling point for the home. Now it’s all done, though, there’s no way we are ever going to move … and we take as much pleasure in the superb craftsmanship all around us as we do in the knowledge that this was achieved through a richly rewarding collaboration – a truly ‘bespoke’ experience.

We are super pleased with the whole experience of getting the design and the units built by Cherrywood Bespoke Kitchens. All through the different stages, Luke and his team have been really nice to deal with and the result is just amazing. From a very awkwardly shaped room to a very usable and attractive space; it has also been great that Luke has helped us to get everything we wanted for the amount we had set aside for this part of our project. In the future we will definitely go back to Cherrywood for any bespoke furniture we might need.

Luke and his team created a beautiful kitchen for us last year, and choosing Cherrywood Bespoke Kitchens was definitely one of our best decisions. From initial contact, through design and then installation, the whole process was a joy. Luke really listens to the preferences and needs of the customer and then translates this into a practical, beautiful and welcoming design. We have had a bespoke kitchen in a previous home, which we also loved and appreciated the quality of, but it was a larger company that offered a much less personal service. We loved that Luke is local, and not deterred from working with the constraints of an older, character property. If you are looking to install a new kitchen, we cannot recommend Cherrywood Bespoke more highly.
