DC Home Improvements & Renovations

We cannot recommend Dan and his team highly enough. From start to finish, the quality of their workmanship has been exceptional, and they have completely transformed our home. They have fitted two beautiful bathrooms, built bespoke fireside bookcases, installed new kitchen appliances, fitted solid wood worktops, carried out plastering and electrical work, and sanded and sealed the original floorboards in our upstairs bathroom. Every job has been completed to an incredibly high standard with real attention to detail. Dan and his team are reliable, hardworking, friendly and respectful, and they always left the house clean and tidy at the end of each day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they were always happy to offer advice and practical solutions to help us achieve the look we wanted. What really stands out is the pride they take in their work. They treat your home as if it were their own, and the quality of the finish speaks for itself. We have received so many compliments on the work they’ve done, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for skilled, trustworthy craftsmen. Thank you, Dan and the team, for all your hard work. We are absolutely delighted with the results and wouldn’t use anyone else for future projects.

I ordered a new Wren kitchen and, although Wren suggested their own fitter for the installation, he turned out to be a disappointment. I then contacted DC Home Improvements and I don’t regret that decision at all. These guys are excellent. Dan, Dave and the rest of the team are really friendly, yet at the same time very professional and highly skilled at what they do. My kitchen looks perfect now and I am absolutely delighted with it. No job was too big for the team; they delivered everything I asked for. I would strongly recommend DC Home Improvements to anyone needing a new kitchen fitted. You will not be disappointed!

DC Home Improvements helped us modify our kitchen to accommodate a dishwasher by removing an existing cupboard and installing all the plumbing required. Dan provided a home kitchen planning visit in which we talked through what we wanted and discussed how it could be achieved. He was honest about what was most cost effective and together we planned a solution. One the day of the works they worked efficiently and professionally being extremely polite and answering the random questions we had. They cleaned up after themselves and didn't leave until we were happy with everything. Very happy!

We hired DC Home Improvements to do a renovation of a newly purchased house for us. It was quite a big job due to the poor condition of the property prior to purchase. The bathroom, WC and kitchen all needed complete refurbishment and there was some decorating to do as well. In just over a month they have really turned the situation around. The house has gone from uninhabitable to a state where my mother can move in. Everything has been done just as promised. The bathroom, WC and kitchen are fully ready and the kitchen, especially, looks very nice now. They also installed new laminate flooring in the sitting room. The speed of the work has been really helpful for meeting our deadline for my mum to move in and when we asked for additional work to be done, this was always accommodated without any issues. Dan and his team have made it possible for us to achieve our goals with this property and it was all done in a polite and helpful manner. Furthermore, I saw quotes that were twice as expensive as what Dan quoted, so it was also good value. I would definitely recommend this company and I would engage their services again in future.

Dan did a full kitchen renovation for us and the finished result is fabulous. He was friendly, knowledgeable and in regular communication letting us know what was happening and when. Dave and Joe were friendly, helpful and the whole team including plasterers and electricians did a great job, taking pride in their work and cleaning up at the end of the day. They even did a few extra things that we asked for once the job had started in our downstairs toilet with no worries. We would have no hesitation about using Dan again or recommending him to anyone else.
