We don’t usually do reviews but felt Designer Kitchens Direct Harrogate deserve one. We had already been to several kitchen companies and had three designs drawn up but none of them hit the mark. We decided to have one last try and as soon as we walked into the showroom in Harrogate knew that this was different. Gareth listened to what we wanted, made suggestions and showed us examples of what was possible. Once we received the design we were sold. Yes, we did change one or two things and Kate was very patient with the flood of questions. The whole team were great from start to finish, can’t praise them enough and we are delighted with our new kitchen. The quality and attention to detail are second to none. DKD Harrogate were the only company which suggested ceramic tops which are amazing, no need for trivets anymore. In short save yourself the time and hassle we had and go straight to DKD Harrogate, you won’t be disappointed.

I couldn’t be more pleased with my stunning recently installed kitchen. It has everything I could possibly want & need including great storage. First of all, let us say we are delighted with our new-look kitchen and utility room designed and fitted by DKD. . The units and worktop have helped turn dark and inefficient areas into bright, attractive rooms which are a pleasure to be in, whether cooking a meal or relaxing with a coffee while watching TV. This is due, in the main, to the expertise of DKD director Gareth, who managed the project from start to finish, and Julian, whose skills and experience ensured everything was fitted to the highest standard in both rooms. We knew revamping the rooms would be a major project and so it proved, especially after the removal of the former kitchen and flooring revealed serious damp problems which required major surgery! Gareth, ably assisted by Lauren at head office, was very understanding and revised the fitting schedule to minimise delay. Fitter Julian was not only highly efficient but also a really pleasant person to have in the house. He consulted us when necessary but dealt with most of the minor issues which are bound to occur in a project of this size himself, while the quality of his work was top class. The biggest compliment we can pay him is that he is a true professional who takes huge pride in his work, with nothing too much trouble to achieve the best possible results. The same accolade applies to Gareth who, while taking on board all our ideas and requirements, used his experience to guide us through all the design pros and cons to ensure we now have a kitchen and utility room which not only look great but are also far more functional than their predecessors. With lengthy guarantees, covering both units and worktop, offering further peace of mind, we are grateful to all concerned for completing a project which has totally transformed a key area of our home. We couldn’t speak anymore highly of DKD! Got our kitchen from them a few years ago and the process was perfect from start to finish. Mary/Dawn and their team are all professional and very friendly. We were very impressed with the showroom visits. We had meetings to discuss the plans and then the presentation of our gorgeous kitchen virtual style! Then came to the kitchen arriving and everything was on time, fitted together and well I’ll let the photos speak for themselves! We have since moved house and will be planning our next new kitchen with Mary/Dawn and their incredible team!
