I can’t thank Designer Kitchen Direct in Sheffield enough for their outstanding job. Visiting the showroom was fantastic and the choices on offer is truly extensive and personalised. The service we received after choosing our fabulous kitchen was second to none. From start to finish the professionalism and execution of works was truly outstanding. We were updated and kept informed every step of the way. The extremely skilled work force in every department (carpentry, electrical, plastering, decorating etc) were professional polite and always on time and a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I both work full time so organisation and timings were very important, this company delivered and very much exceeded our expectations. We are absolutely thrilled with our perfect kitchen designed by Mary and the team. Mary and her team really have captured exactly what we'd imagined so effortlessly. Everyone has been so thorough, from DKD themselves to CC construction, one of DKD's preferred builders who completed the build, who were really easy to work with and there when you need them at the drop of a hat, working past usual hours to get the job done. We've felt so looked after by everyone involved and when you're entering into an unknown territory that is really important. Designer Kitchen Direct (DKD) designed our new kichen which was installed during November/December 2025. DKD arranged building work preparation prior to the kitchen being fitted and for a quartz worktop to be fitted. The work was all project managed on our behalf and communication at all times was very good. Simon, the Kitchen Designer was extremely helpful and very patient and the workmen that attended our property were pleasant and worked to a high standard. Julian the kitchen fitter worked extremely hard paying attention to detail that was second to none. Kelly at Artisan Stone was also very patient as we twice changed our mind before deciding on the worktop. We are extremely happy with our new Kitchen and so glad that we decided to go with Designer Kitchen Direct. If you want a high quality Job I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending DKD.

I LOVE my new kitchen. DKD were just brilliant from the outset. I found the whole team to be yes very professional and good at what they do, but more than that, friendly and tolerant of my endless insecurities and tweaking of plans. Putting in a new kitchen is a very significant investment, and I struggled to make decisions, but they were astonishingly patient in trying to understand what I wanted. The actual build got passed over to their partner Mount Renovation who were also outstanding.They liaised with other builders on site, and took away all the angst of trying to organise construction work. There were some hiccups along the way due to unexpected discoveries once walls started coming down, but the team came up with solutions and kept me informed at every stage. I did end up blowing my budget quite significantly, but that was down to me becoming more ambitious, as I felt confident in the work that was being done and decided to extend my plans. The designer did try to keep me on track. However, I have no regrets. I have future proofed my home and have many practical solutions in place that make not only the kitchen much more workable, but my whole downstairs space. My teenage self would be horrified that I could be so delighted by a utility cupboard that stacks my washing machine and tumble drier for example, and yet I truly am. On completion, you too will be opening and closing random kitchen cupboards just so you can gaze inside and enjoy the soft close features over and over again. I felt very comfortable with everyone who came to my home, they treated my property with respect, and were also willing and able to give ear scratches to a neighbour's dog who is a frequent visitor so passed that test with flying colours. I was going to list everyone who contributed in this review, but decided against, partly for fear of missing someone out by accident but honestly, because I think it is the whole team that makes the service good, including those you might not see. I feel like they care about the quality of what they offer, and are in it for the long term. I did shop around and in the end opted for DKD for the wrap around support and friendly, approachable and good humoured service. The Mount Renovation team become part of the family whilst they are in, I actually missed them for a bit once they moved on! I have no reservations in recommending DKD. You can't get away from the fact that redoing a kitchen is potentially expensive and inevitably disruptive, but for me it was well worth it, and has transformed my home. Can’t praise DKD enough. We have had our kitchen, utility, pantry and a main bedroom filled by them. Every experience has been exceptional. From initial discussions, design ideas through to detailed planning. All of the preparation sees every detail thought of and carefully planned. Our master carpenter installer Julian was a true craftsman with an eye for detail. Working in a professional and tidy manner he went above and beyond to provide a great finish. No hesitation to recommend to anyone who wants a job with a higher level of quality and design
