DIY Kitchen Designer - Freelance kitchen designer

Found Jo online after struggling to get to grips with creating a design myself. Was amazing from the start and shows you some great examples of what you can do and the vision to utilise the space as much as you can. If in doubt, leave it to Jo, as you won't regret it.

Jo was absolutely incredible to deal with. We had an idea of what we wanted and had a go at the DIY designer but could not manage to create such a complex design whereas Jo went over and above to make it happen. She is incredible and the knowledge she has about the DIY Kitchens system is amazing. She also helped us source some very fancy accessories to take the kitchen to the next level. We couldnt be happier.

We used jo the DIY Kitchen to help us design our SW london kitchen from DIY and were very impressed with the results. The kitchen range we went for was the Helmesley in Mussel for the main units, and heritage green for the island and unit on back wall. We had no idea how to build the basket etc and plan the space but she helped us through every aspect of this. The result was a bespoke looking kitchen for a fraction of the price. Jo was able to create a custom breakfast unit and also utility unit for us hidden behind the doors and this worked beautifully. Communication throughout was good and we were kept up to date. There was a slight issue with spacing of one unit due to a miscommunication but that was as much our fault as it was Joe's, and she helped us find a perfectly acceptable solution with the fitter. I wanted to order from DIY kitchens as I loved being able to choose the colour of my units. Jo was great helping me make some adjustments to my original plan and added some really cool and practical features I would never have thought of by myself. I love my cat feeding area that stops us tripping over their bowls. I also love big my big cupboard with a sliding door to shut away all my gadgets and clutter. Jo came out and measured up to check it was going to work . She put everything I needed in my DIY Kitchens basket so that all I had to do was place my order. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommend Jo. She helped design our kitchen (kitchen line and kitchen island with seating) and created a wonderful design for us. She is extremely detailed and puts a lot of thought (and time!) into the design. She also knows a lot of hacks for DIY kitchens and designed two bespoke units for us (a laundry cupboard and breakfast bar), which we could have never achieved without her help. She was extremely responsive when our fitters had questions and really cares about the design coming to life, thinking of all the little details that ultimately make the kitchen special. Jo's design fee is very reasonable given the immense value she adds, so if you're thinking about DIY kitchens, I would 100% recommend getting in touch with Jo!
