DIY Kitchens Planner

I couldn’t recommend Samantha more highly. We spent months trawling the showrooms before she was recommended to me by a colleague. Communication was quick and simple, and the design she produced was just what we were hoping for. My only suggestion would be to promote your own products further - we ordered Invictus flooring, a Quooker and quartz worktops through them at hugely discounted prices. Fantastic value for money, thank you for making our kitchen dreams real.

I think the kitchen design is lovely I’m just not convinced this is worth the money. I had a much more collaborative process when I went to some of the bigger and leading kitchen manufacturers. With this company, you fill out the limited brief (pictured) along with a few inspiration pics and they bring your design to life. Whilst the design is lovely and very close to what I wanted, it’s not quite there. There isn’t a collaborative process and you are not asked questions such as where you want your fridge, the colour of your island or where you want certain appliances positioned; they pretty much guess this for you and if you’re easily pleased then you’ll be fine but if you’re a little more particular then you might find yourself having to pay a few amendment fees to get the design you really want. Either be very detailed and specific in the brief or expect to pay extra otherwise you’re better off using a leading manufacturer and purchasing the design from them. You also have to pay the entire fee (£199) upfront - there isn’t an option to pay a deposit then final balance upon completion which also made me a little wary. It’s a shame as I wanted to love the company and I think what they do is great but I also think the process is slightly flawed with you not being able to specify the colours you want the cupboards or the size of the island without it being subject to a redesign fee. If I knew to put it all in the brief, I would have. I just expected them to come back to me and confirm things before completing the design. Do I like my design? Yes. Would I use them again or recommend them to friends and family? No.

Samantha's design services were an absolute god-send for our project. She combined all our ideas and a very vague brief into an absolutely stunning kitchen design which ticked all our boxes and satisfied needs we didn't know we had! Sam was very easy and professional to deal with and the visuals she presented really helped us to finalise our kitchen dream. Will add kitchen photos when its built!

Samantha was fantastic to work with, her communication was great, prices very reasonable and the kitchen plans she delivered looked beautiful. She brought a wealth of experience of designing from the DIY Kitchens ranges which I really appreciated. All in all couldn't fault the service received and would 100% recommend DIY Kitchens Planner and Samantha to others looking for a very cost effective design service; especially if, like me, you are a bit befuddled by all the options/choices out there.

Reached out to Samantha after visiting a kitchen showroom and being overwhelmed by choice and layouts. Samantha took a detailed brief and came back with a design that was absolutely perfect. We had been to the normal kitchen suppliers and had all given us layouts but they just didn't work, the one that Samantha sent back was thoughtful, functional and had everything we wanted in it. Samantha has been responsive to emails and gave clear timelines for drawings. She has gone above the service quoted for and has come back with additional advice which is really appreciated when making such a huge decision about a new kitchen. Thank you Samantha for all your help, I can't wait to see the end result.
