I am so happy with our kitchen renovation by Alec. From start to finish the experience was easy and hassle free. We had a small-ish space to work with but Alec nailed it, his design and suggestions for the kitchen layout to make use of space and what would work for us was second to none. I’m so happy with our new kitchen and love everything about it. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Went to Gardiner Haskins for a bathroom design consultation. I had been emailing David before hand to give an idea of what we wanted which meant he had a first draft design ready when saw him at the appointment. He was very friendly and super helpful, giving solutions for issues we were having with the design / existing space. Communication was very clear and David followed up several times after when I had questions about the quote etc

A Christmas review You never really know how good your kitchen is until Christmas comes. Grown up children, friends and other family descend looking for feeding in a pleasant ambiance. Alec designed my first kitchen when my children were 7 and 11. Now 30 and 27 arriving with partners they still have high expectations about their food existence. Alec’s latest design didn’t fail to disappoint. His suggestions around cookers and warming draws and an extra large hob for catering paid off, the designer pink copper sink which provides a focal point for conversation and the low level lighting around the island and sink, are gorgeous. Thx alex for your suggestions, your creative design, continuous patience with me changing my mind and sage advice about what will and won’t look good. We recently had our kitchen designed by Alec at Gardiner Haskins, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. While other designers produced the kitchen I thought I wanted, Alec designed the one that truly works for us. He explained the reasoning behind each design choice clearly and helped us select colours and materials that made our space both practical and beautiful. The fitters were outstanding — professional, skilled, and their attention to detail in the final finish was truly commendable. The result is a family kitchen that’s a joy to use and enjoy every day. Gardiner Haskins is a very traditional furniture shop - in a good way. Lots of stock, great furniture names, good prices and fantastic service. Conveniently situated for the train station in a wonderful old building.
