Darren has done a fantastic job this summer fitting our new Kitchen & Utility Room. From planning to fitting his experience has been invaluable and is without a doubt very skilled at his job, thank you Darren 😊

Hereford Creative Kitchens (HCK) is owned and run by Darren, and thanks to him we now have a new kitchen. In one person Darren has been designer, project manager and (with some hired help) fitter for our new kitchen and I feel this has been an important factor in why we rate him so highly. My wife and I had spent many months looking at other kitchen providers, both large and small, to supply us with a new kitchen. For all of them there was something missing or unwanted in their offer (e.g. one did not supply a Belfast sink with the door design we wanted; another had a very narrow selection of furniture colours for the price we could afford and wanted the full cost of the kitchen, including installation, up-front). So we had some design ideas well formulated, but needed someone or an organisation with a skill set like Darren’s. When I contacted HCK I was not hopeful that we could afford a bespoke and handmade kitchen (particularly as it was a large kitchen plus utility). I thought that a bespoke and handmade kitchen would come in at least twice our budget and at way more expense than Wickes or Wren were quoting. So when we explained our budget it was a huge relief that Darren said he could work to that. Having reached the end of the process, I feel we have a quality kitchen with everything we wanted at (probably) less cost than the National suppliers could do (even with the discounts). And Darren project managed the whole thing so we weren’t left having to negotiate separately with the painter/ decorator, floor fitting company and kitchen work-top supplier; all of whom are local Herefordshire based businesses that I would highly recommend too. Taking the design ideas we had already formulated, Darren added to and enhanced these thoughts using his design skills. With his experience as a fitter too though, he was quickly able to let us know when something wouldn’t work and to offer a solution that would. I also vouch for Darren’s honesty, integrity and trustworthiness. When someone comes into your home and turns your life upside down for 5 weeks (which getting a new kitchen did for us) you get to know them as a human being. There has been so much that Darren has done extra at no cost or just the cost of materials, because he has wanted it to look good and for us to be happy with the kitchen. Every step of the way Darren consulted us about what we wanted, offering different options. Occasionally, e.g with the positioning of a kitchen worktop, there was just millimetres of difference in where we could have something positioned. So in summary we both feel incredibly lucky to have found Darren and had Hereford Creative Kitchens create such a wonderful kitchen for us.

Darren transformed our kitchen with a replacement sink and tap, and sanding our tired and worn wooden worktops. What was, for him, I'm sure, a relatively small job has made such a difference. His communication was excellent throughout and he even took the trouble to rearrange the undersink plumbing to make the cupboard below tidier. Brilliant attention to detail and highly recommended.

I would recommend Hereford Creative Kitchens with no hesitation at all. Darren provided an excellent, professional, friendly service when designing and fitting our kitchen with attention to detail and nothing too much trouble. To help our thought process, he provided lots of brochures / information, arranged samples, listened and talked through our needs and ideas before coming up with a great design. Darren is trustworthy, a pleasure to have in the house and takes great pride in his work. We are extremely pleased with our fantastic new kitchen.

Darren of Creative Kitchens has fitted a new utility room for me. He placed high importance on attention to detail and took great care with everything he did. This approach ensured a fantastic end result which I was extremely happy with. Darren even took the initiative to replace the old pipework for my sink and washing machine and he created much better streamlined plumbing. He was professional and courteous throughout the whole process and also very good at tidying up after himself, which was much appreciated.
