I had an excellent experience with Husk getting custom doors made for my Howdens carcasses. I really enjoyed the design process with Natasha, who was so invested in my vision for the kitchen. She spent lots of time with me and made sure I got the custom feel I was looking for. The communication from the workshop was great, everything was delivered when promised, fitted perfectly, and our builders commented on the excellent quality. If you want a unique design but don't have the budget to go fully custom, this is the perfect way to do it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Husk.

As part of an extensive remodel of our downstairs living space we approached Husk to help us bring our new kitchen ideas to life. The original space was segregated and lacking flow, so we decided to open it all up and create a large living/dining/entertaining space. As part of the process we had already visited the usual (high street) suspects and were left totally underwhelmed with their offerings. We found Husk online and reached out with our ideas - our budget wasn’t huge, but the end product we could achieve by using Ikea carcasses and Husk’s custom fronts opened up a world of possibilities. Being somewhat local we visited the workshop to see what could be achieved and were instantly sold! From start to finish everyone involved was amazing - you can tell they’re passionate about what they do - and they do it very well. We were project-managing the renovation ourselves, and honestly, dealing with Husk was the least stressful element of the whole build. They understood the assignment, took our plans and ran with them. There was a constant stream of communication and everything came together beautifully. Our kitchen looks incredible and is constantly complimented - we love it. It has genuinely changed the way we live our lives in the house and how we interact as a family.

We have wanted to open up and better utilise our kitchen-diner space since moving into our house five years ago. We had a good idea of what we wanted from the kitchen, but with barely any renovation experience, we really needed help with the layout and selection of units. We also wanted a bespoke finish, but our budget didn’t stretch to bespoke carcasses. We love to support Bristol-based businesses, so Husk was the obvious choice to work with. We had an initial meeting with Freya at the showroom and she clearly explained how everything worked. We chose to use the full design service, with Howden’s units.
Our experience of working with Husk was nothing but positive. The designs nailed our brief, and the extensive work Freya did to get exactly the right cabinets for our proposed layout was invaluable. The selection of materials and finishes that Husk offer is brilliant, and the case studies on their website made it easy to decide on the general theme and colours, with Freya’s guidance. The manufacturing process was clear and the schedule was transparent, so we were able to give our builders reassurance on the timings. Everything was delivered on time, and Husk were happy to hold some elements back that needed to be measured and cut after other parts of the kitchen had been installed. In particular, getting the window seat right took a lot of consideration, and some fine adjustment, but Husk were always on the end of the phone or an email, waiting to help.
We absolutely love the outcome of the kitchen; it is everything that the designs promised and that we hoped we would achieve. Our challenge to Freya was that we wanted something worthy of being presented as one of Husk’s main case studies, and it’s amazing that we have achieved that. The kitchen was also featured on Instagram and received 1,000s of likes and many positive comments, which was really amazing. Without fail, we recommend Husk to anyone we know who is doing a kitchen project, and at least two have followed the recommendation so far.

A great experience from walking into Husk in Bristol to enjoying our new kitchen. For many of us a new kitchen is a significant investment, with a multitude of choices and styles to navigate through. It's also a room in which we spend a huge amount of time. From the start, I always felt like Freya and the team where trying to help us get the kitchen we wanted rather than one they wanted to sell us. Husk built our entire kitchen, including the carcasses and supplying the worktops and appliances. Although, I felt they would have been equally helpful if we had only ordered doors. The carcasses are really good quality and are really solid which is important for us in what is a hard working kitchen for a large family. By getting Husk to make the the whole kitchen it also allowed us to get the fit we wanted. We fitted the kitchen as part of large refurbishment and the team were really helpful in developing the design as the build progressed. It's been in a few months now and as you learn to work with the space you really appreciate the small design details that make it a great space. Very happy with our Husk kitchen.

We couldn’t be happier with our husk oak groove frontages! They are incredible quality and give our cupboards & island the pop in our kitchen that we were looking for. It’s the first thing everyone notices in this space, and love how the wall cabinets are almost hidden, giving an overall sleek finish. We would highly recommend Husk, from start to finish the team were unbelievably helpful - helping us throughout the design process & beyond when we had to make last minute changes during the fitting of our kitchen. Everything was done in a timely manner and to the highest of standards. We are over the moon with the result!
