Jayne Dailly 21:48 (2 minutes ago) to me Colin and his team at Development Direct were the most wonderful people to work with on the installation of our new kitchen. From the outset of visiting our property, it was clear that Colin was attentive to our needs as a family. That, coupled with his experience and flair for design, gave us the confidence to embark on the project and we are so glad we did; the team are simply the best in the business! Everything was meticulously planned and carefully communicated at every stage: the team made the project feel and seem easy - even pulling down a supporting wall and erecting a steel beam was all in a day's work. Project manager, Sean, was a great support on a daily basis throughout and the skill and craftsmanship of the build in the hands of joiners, electricians etc was amazing. Everything was finished ahead of schedule and the results are simply stunning. Colin and his team made us feel like ours was the only kitchen project happening - our only regret is their work is so good, we will probably only work with them once!

Just the most brilliant design company in Edinburgh. From first consultation to install, the team at Development Direct were brilliant to deal with. We were so impressed with the design of the kitchen that we asked them to design our bathrooms too and the bathroom designs were absolutely brilliant as well as the kitchen. Clearly passionate about doing a great job and very experienced, the team helped us through the whole design and install process. Colin and everyone at Development Direct were an absolute pleasure to deal with and the end result was just stunning rooms that will be wonderful spaces for years of use. I can’t praise Colin, Jenny and their team at Development Direct highly enough. When you look to take on a potentially expensive building project (installation of kitchen and bathroom which included the removal of structural walls) you would be concerned about the quality of workmanship that you contract. However, even from the initial discussion in their showroom I realised that I was dealing with a team that paid attention to detail. I had an awareness of what I required, but Colin and his team provided extensive guidance and advise on layouts, products and styles. They were excellent at answering all of my queries; in particular, I liked Colin’s comprehensive quotes and invoicing. This allowed for stress free control of the budget, and the flexibility for alterations or enhancements during construction. Their onsite team were excellent and, as mentioned by others, were always on time, left the site tidy and the workmanship was of the highest quality. And with Colin and his team as overall project managers, their in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the build made for easy discussion. Development Direct have created a wonderful addition to my home. Even after the project was completed, they have been helpful in following up any queries. It truly was a stress free and effortless project (for me, as the client, at least), therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending them for any size of project and look forward to working with Colin, Jenny and their team again. I would happily show any future clients round my home.
