Kitchens Plus Bathrooms

Had a brilliant experience having my bathroom renovated. The first design visit was very thorough and professional and each stage after that went smoothly. I was kept informed throughout the process and had lots of contact from the company to make sure everything was spot on. The installation was very efficient and the work was completed to a high standard. Six months later I still love my new bathroom and have had no issues.

We are happy with the kitchen we had fitted by Kitchens Plus. From start to finish everyone we dealt with listened to our concerns and were very helpful. Although a small kitchen there was a lot of work to be done. I must give special mention to Lewis Hutchinson who project managed the installation from beginning to end and Joe who actually fitted the kitchen as he went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes .

*Personally I would avoid due to lack of help and communication* The job of getting a new bathroom in started on a monday morning, during that week I had a leak that came through from the bathroom into the dining room, the carpet was absolutely soaking and a spotlight was slightly damaged. Along with a big damp patch on the celling and a crack appeared. (I have taken photos of this). I came home one night to find the sink completely out of place... to be centered between two windows, it was off centre and very obvious so I informed the worker who did move it the next day. In the middle of another day while I was at work, I received a call to pay 216.00 for waste removal... these people turned up from Blyth Waste Management Services in the middle of a bathroom renovation so I was left with a yard full of boxes still mid job!! I was told they would not be coming back to collect so naturally I complained AGAIN, the girl from the bathroom company rang me back and said someone would be out Friday afternoon to remove said boxes and rubbish left behind from the workers... not a single person turned up. And the rubbish is still there. Big massive boxes!! I was told on the second to last day the electrician would be out. No communication but he came out 3 days later. The invoice was for almost £50 more than quoted on the contract but obviously I just paid what I was quoted. I had booked for a plasterer to come out and a plasterer never turned up. So all tiles in the bathroom were placed and not a single bit of plastering done. Really disgusting of such a big "well established" business to go on like that. The bathroom is fitted and it does look lovely but all the unecessary stress and the half assed job of charging 216 for waste removal and still have waste lying around is absolutely diabolical. They would not give me my money back either despite not fulfilling a job. Very unprofessional from both parts. Really not happy with the company organisation.

Had a bathroom fitted, cost massively over the odds for substandard units and fittings, all of which were delivered in good time, thats where the positives ended, no sooner had the parts been delivered a phonecall was received to demand payment for the goods, It was relayed that the parts hadn't been checked yet, not acceptable so i foolishly made payment only to discover during fitting that all parts had not been supplied, notably a shower screen that would take a while to turn up.Work took longer than quoted and reasonably expected, kitchen used as workshop which left the place a mess with worktops damaged, workmen unreliable and work quality not the best, a toilet drainline was found propped up with pieces of wood only when another job required someone to go under floorboards. My work was done a few years ago, only came onto here after seeing an advert on Facebook recently to warn people to be careful when using this company. I only know a few people who have used them and their opinions are similar to mine.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a kitchen fitted by them in April which still has issues. Firstly we were supplied with a worktop that was terrible. Marks wouldn't clean off and eventually agreed to replace. Firstly new worktop was delivered and date booked to get it fitted. First date the workman didn't show up as the manager forgot to book him apparently. Second time workman was booked who told me there wasn't enough worktop to do the job. A second delivery was arranged. Delivery company delivered some more worktop and took away the worktop that was wrong. Third occasion a different fitter came and advised the worktop was still wrong! He called up the office who basically asked him to bodge the job just to get it done. Superb when you have spend thousands on a new kitchen! So they agreed to come back and it was replaced at the 4th attempt and some six months after the kitchen was originally fitted. There are still things outstanding on the kitchen. I have emailed Lyn their customer care manager who has apparently passed my concerns on to the Director who would be in touch. That was two weeks ago now. Still no reply. So basically once you have paid them they couldn't care less. Do not under any circumtances get any work done by this company.
