We were so impressed with the design consultations we had. Dominica was exceptional at knowing exactly how to get the best from the space and designed the most incredible kitchen and utility room. We could not fault this part and would have recommended her to everyone. Unfortunately it then went very wrong when it came to delivery. The original date was pushed back by two weeks as she has clearly missed ordering, our builders had pushed to meet the original deadline so when I said we needed an fitter and for the crazy delay there should be a reduction, assured yes on the phone and then when it came to it, her fitter who we cannot fault and it was not his problem the delays happened was charged for and we had to pay. Then more and more went wrong. Parts of our order were missing, it came in dribs and drabs and not when we were assured it would even some of it three weeks after the original date. We had no sinks, taps or appliances. Email after email was ignored and messages only replied to if we pushed. Deliveries delayed. We had paid in full for everything with an original delivery date of November 10th and then told our Hob wouldn’t arrive until after Xmas…… our sinks hadn’t arrived or taps. We pushed for taps to be told we could pick what we was in stock so not those we had paid for. In the end we had to buy our own hob and hot tap in order to have it all installed by our builders who had been so patient with the delays. Kick plates still only then arrived in Jan and as we have no real invoices or break down of costs we are still none the wiser as to what elements actually cost what, yes is our own naivety in this process and a mistake we will never make again. The hob and hot tap refund was raised on December 6th and it took more and more chasing to eventually get this over a month late and only after we had to go into the physical show room. So incredibly disappointed with how stressful the delivery and chasing and missing elements and delays were after what was a good experience. Design service excellent but the rest was one of the worse customer service experiences we have ever encountered and because of this I would not recommend this showroom. Also with this company there is no way to get in touch with head office or management or anyone from the actual company which again is alarming. Interesting to read other reviews quoting similar experiences.

We are very happy with the kitchen that Dominica designed for us in Kuchenhaus Reading. She took the time to meet us several times in order to make adjustments and make sure that we were happy with the plans. Our new kitchen is beautiful and so practical, as Dominica is very creative and clearly knows Kuchenhaus cabinet combinations very well. Dominica designed a kitchen that met all our requirements, as we needed more storage, but also a welcoming room where we could invite friends over. We love the colour scheme and the many useful features, deep drawers, extra bookshelves for our recipe books and shutter units to host our coffee machine, making the most of our space. The kitchen is very comfortable and looks solid. The total (fitted) cost was similar to lower quality kitchens that we had looked at. Dominica’s assistant, Claudia, was really friendly and the drawings look exactly like the final product. Our kitchen was fitted by Dominica’s fitter, Chris, who was very meticulous and precise in his execution, leaving the room tidy and clean every night, probably cleaner that he found it, as we have dogs who joined him. We are loving the new kitchen, thanks for all your hard work!

I have recently purchased a kitchen from Dominika and it is everything I dreamed of. She listened to everything I wanted and even suggested things I didn't know I needed. I have had other designs done from other companies but the final design from Dominika is amazing. She won me over 100%, I can't wait.

On a positive note - the showroom was lovely; we agreed a design, paid the initial deposit and welcomed Dominika into our home socially. Issues first started when our builder needed first-fix details for the electrical and water supplies. So that we didn’t delay them, I asked Dominika for these in good time. For many weeks my emails and WhatsApp messages were either ignored or answered with promises of “tomorrow”. This resulted in me having to go into the showroom to get this information. This poor communication and delay was repeated with the final sign-off paperwork which was required before the order could be placed. Over the following month, each time we asked for this paperwork, we were promised we would have it by a certain date, which never happened. Again we had to go into the showroom to ask where it was. Dominika reacted badly to being asked in person and became confrontational, stating that the best resolution was for us to cancel the order, rather than her actually doing whet she had promised. Once the sign-off pack arrived we paid the main deposit. Before ordering the kitchen, Dominika come to our house to check final measurements. We raised concerns about customer service and communication. Dominika’s explanation was to blame us, with no apology. We had only ever chased her when her own deadlines had passed. In this meeting she became very aggressive and shouted at us. At this stage we were too far along to change suppliers and still keep our build on track. In hindsight we should have cancelled our order, as worse was yet to come. We informed Dominika when the build would be ready for the kitchen installation. Once again there were delays and excuses with the availability of her fitter, despite giving her plenty of notice of time lines. When the fitting started in February, there were multiple errors in the ordering that meant items such as drawers had to be reordered from Germany. Each time there was a delay of 2 months. These errors were clearly on the ordering side, through mis-measuring. The excuse was always that Nobilia, the German manufacturer was at fault! Installation concerns: * Failing to fit the required U trap on the washing machine drain * Removing a tumble dryer hose and replacing with a non standard part * The odour filters for the extractor were not ordered or fitted * Cupboard was damaged during fitting and had to be replaced * Quooker tap system recommended by Dominika could not be installed by her fitters and was “abandoned” Understandably this compelled me to check everything. Despite the Quooker system being left, the tap was installed yet blocked the glass splash-back being fitted. Dominika came round. Not only was she rude to the glass fitter, so much so that he walked off site, she once again shouted at us. I had to tell Dominika to leave our property. Further concerns: * Threatening to cancel a fitting appointment if an invoice wasn’t paid, when it was not yet due * Coercion to not have drainer groves in the worktop, incorrectly stating it would invalidate any guarantee * Defensive confrontational attitude when responding to legitimate concerns * Threat of debt recovery if we didn’t pay the final bill, despite the kitchen still being incomplete 7 months from the start of fitting! Out of desperation I contacted the parent company in Germany, Nobilia. I asked for a UK contact so I could escalate our experience. Sadly there was no response from Nobilia, who inappropriately sent my request back to Dominika. Rather than respond professionally, Dominika forwarded this email to our friend abroad, adding untrue and defamatory comments about us. By doing this she broke data protection law. We raised this with the UK Kutchenhaus directors. Despite them serving a cease and desist request to Dominika, she again contacted our friend, causing her much distress. In summary, this has been the worst possible experience. It has not been worth the money which we have paid in full. Yet still we await for our kitchen to be completed.

She listened to what I wanted & had the patience of a saint with many changes until I was ultimately happy with colour & kitchen design choices. Nothing was too much trouble & I could drop in or call anytime for update on progress and solutions to minor changes I wanted unexpected. I was so impressed with her experience & knowledge in kitchen design.
