This is a fine shop with good quality equipment. Helpful staff.
The reason I haven't scored it higher is the disabled access could have been better. The main entrance, closest to the disabled parking, has a generous flight of stairs leading to it. To get to the disabled entrance, one must walk round to the other side. Hardly seems ideal for a disabled person.
Certainly, there is also disabled parking at that side of the building. However, these are only visible once you've already walked round there.
Shame, as otherwise it's a great store.

Good shop for kitchen supplies. Several flights of steps up to front entrance. There is a ramped side entrance. Shop itself is on one level

This is an updated review in March 2025. Lakeland have moved from the Eastgate Centre in Inverness to Simpsons Garden Centre at Inshes, Inverness. As far as I am concerned, this is a great move as it is free parking and I enjoy visiting Simpsons. I always enjoy a browse at Lakeland and they have such good variety. They have so many useful things for the house for sale. I like the fact that they have someone available to ask where things are. The new store is easily accessible, if you don't like the stairs there is a side entrance.

Excellent service at Lakeland Inverness. Sales assistant helped me carry heavy goods to my car having already given expert advice. Would highly recommend

Lousy warranty. Three years sounds reasonable, but it's across-the-board. So, it's great if you're spending a few quid on a toaster in-store but completely inadequate for larger, more expensive items bought online.
