I wish we could give more than 5 stars, LDC Kitchens have been outstanding. Having had very underwhelming designs from other companies, we decided to visit LDC. The best decision we could have made! It was very evident that David, the designer, had been a chef. The design centred around functionality rather than purely aesthetics. He listened to us and gave us everything we wished for but hadn’t thought possible. It was also evident that David had spent a lot of time and thought on the design, coming up with an ingenious solution for the dining room table. Even the smallest details were considered. Who would have thought the positioning of a bin in your kitchen could bring so much joy! Steve Field & Lynn worked behind the scenes coordinating everything, even liaising with our chosen flooring company, to ensure everything was ready for the start date. The team, led by Steve Jancey, were a pleasure to have in our home. Joe, Paul, Matt & Alistair. A big thank you to our fitter Robin for his outstanding work, a true craftsman. Steve Jancey is the nicest person you could meet and an absolute credit to the company. We had a few snags and a couple of changes we wanted to make along the way and they were sorted without quibble or hassle, nothing was too much trouble. We had no doubts that would be the case. We are absolutely thrilled with our new kitchen. LDC genuinely care for their customers. We would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

We have used enough builders to know that things rarely go to plan — costs creep, timelines stretch, and the stress takes its toll. Five stars is not given lightly. So when we tell you that LDC Kitchens finished the job when they said they would, to a standard that made us stand in the room and weep with quiet middle-aged gratitude, that is exactly what they get. Gareth fitted it. We notice his work every day. The doors line up. The drawers shut properly. We still find ourselves standing in front of his work, head tilted, the way people stand in front of a properly hung gallery wall, quietly admiring the fact that every cabinet line meets exactly where it ought to, with the smug little click of things that have been done right. Steve Jancey ran the job on site. The brick whisperer, as he became known, is the reason it all worked. He project-managed the order of works, the trades, the deliveries, the small disasters a house produces the moment you start pulling bits of it off. He answered questions before we'd asked them. Nothing was too much trouble. He is also one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. The team, Joe, Alistair, Dan and many others, turned up when they said they would, did what they said they'd do, tidied up after themselves, treated the place as if their mothers were watching, and were good company. Steve Field and Lynn did the work behind the scenes, planning, ordering, replying to emails quickly enough that we never had to chase. By the time anyone turned up with a tool, everything that needed to be in place was in place. The job was a big one. Knock through and turn the kitchen, dining and sitting area into one open-plan space. That kind of project sounds straightforward right up to the moment someone has to do it. David the designer is very good. We told him what we thought we wanted; he was polite about it for a while before explaining, gently, that we'd got it the wrong way round. He was right. What we ended up with bears almost no resemblance to the original sketch and is much better for it. He thinks about how you actually use a room rather than how it looks on a plan, and in an open-plan space, get the kitchen end wrong and you've wrecked the whole floor. He didn't. They said they'd be finished before Christmas. They were. We were cooking in it on Christmas Eve. The whole space is lovely. It makes us smile every time we walk into it. Five stars, obviously. Ring them.

LDC Kitchens were single-handedly the best company we worked with throughout our entire house renovation. From start to finish, every single person involved genuinely cared about the end result, and it absolutely shows in the final product. David, the designer, did an incredible job. What really stood out was that he wasn’t afraid to push back on some of our original ideas and challenge them with better solutions of his own. Every detail of the room was thought through perfectly — functionality, positioning, flow, storage — everything was considered down to the smallest detail, and the kitchen is far better because of it. Steve Field did a fantastic job planning the entire project timeline to make everything run as quickly and smoothly as possible, which made a huge difference during such a major renovation. Lynn was always brilliant at replying quickly to any questions or queries we had, no matter how small, and made communication throughout the whole process effortless. And then there’s Steve Jancey — genuinely one of the nicest and most knowledgeable builders I’ve ever met. He made the entire process practically stress free by sorting any issues immediately, no matter how minor they were. He was an absolute pleasure to have around, and the same goes for his entire building team. Every single tradesman who came into the house was friendly, professional, and incredibly skilled. Honestly, we’ll actually miss having them around. The quality of the kitchen itself is outstanding. Yes, LDC will cost more than going with a big kitchen franchise, but after renovating an entire house, I can confidently say the extra cost was worth every single penny. This was by far the biggest job of the renovation, yet somehow the least stressful. I would recommend LDC Kitchens to everyone looking to get a kitchen done, no matter how big or small.

What an amazing team of talented people. We approached LDC who were recommended to us by a friend after a leak left our kitchen a bit worse for wear. We met with Dave who listened to everything we had to say and took our requirements on board in the design that he presented to us. They were accommodating in making parts of our kitchen bespoke, answered queries super quickly and came back to us when they said they would. Our kitchen not only looks amazing but feels like a lovely place to be and that is because time, care and attention were paid to making it perfect for us. Thank you everyone at LDC who worked on our kitchen! Highly recommend.

From start to finish our experience with LDC Kitchens was first class. The attention to detail and willingness to alter things on the go was outstanding. Each member of the team, from the office to the onsite crew, was a joy to interact with. We felt fully in control each step of the way and the insights, guidance and professionalism we received was invaluable. 5 stars doesn't seem nearly enough to express the quality of service we experienced. Trust is an important factor when having work done in your home and I can wholeheartedly recommend LDC Kitchens in this regard.
