Luxe Kitchen Designs

Luke and the team have just completed work on my kitchen, and I am thrilled with the results. From the initial consultation to the final installation, I found everyone to be professional, reliable, and attentive to every detail. The space is a traditional Victorian galley kitchen, so it is more challenging than a standard layout. Luke listened to my ideas and contributed his own, giving me options for an awkward space that I hadn't even considered. Communication from everyone was excellent throughout the project, and any questions or requests were answered promptly. Having visited numerous kitchen showrooms before contacting Luke, I can honestly say the level of service, expertise, and attention to detail was second to none. The finished kitchen has exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Luxe Kitchen Designs to family and friends.

We have just had a beautiful media wall unit fitted. Luxe Kitchen Designs provided us with a design to suit our budget and communication throughout the process was excellent. During fitting Luke did a site visit to ensure everything was correct and up to standard. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Luxe for your design project.

I cannot thank Luke enough for a project which was nothing less than a complete renovation of a house from top to bottom. I brought him in initially to talk through the kitchen renovation but as we discussed things it was quite clear that he could tackle the majority of the entire project, at least from a design perspective. So I let him! In a single visit he talked through the project with me and quickly took measurements for the basis of a 3D computer model which we used as a focus for iterating the design. We quickly reached consensus and work started soon after. The project covered: the kitchen and annexe, the lounge (a media wall replacing an old fireplace), downstairs cloakroom, main bathroom, two bedrooms and a bedroom conversion into a study. Basically the house was stripped back to bare walls, floors and ceiling as a starting point. Luke either designed it all or made contributions to designs offered by other trades (sometimes stepping in to point out things they had designed that simply would not work and offering alternatives). He quickly came up with an excellent design for the kitchen and annexe, making suggestions of items I had not even thought about. The design matched my requirements very closely and Luke made good suggestions as to things I had not considered, and adapted the overall design to include them. The kitchen is now exactly as I imagined it, only better! He worked quickly to update the design of the study as I worked through my ideas of what I wanted there, including a large bespoke oak working desk and bespoke cabinets for various items. The bedroom designs were equally speedy and updated as my thoughts came together. Being able to see the entire project rendered in 3D was hugely helpful to me, especially as I was living quite some distance away and could only visit occasionally during the works. I can honestly say that, despite the distance, it felt more like a collaboration than simply hiring someone to get it done as Luke was feeding back reports to me on progress and asking for design decisions as needed. Luke arranged all the necessary trades and took time to watch over them at critical phases of the work. Luke excels in communication and attention to detail - as the works progressed, I received many photos of the progress, which helped me feel involved despite being so far away. I was consulted on all decisions and offered advice on various options. Luke was patient when waiting for me to make decisions but also time conscious on planning the various trades being on site. There were one or two hiccups (not Luke's fault) and he stepped in to help steer things to a successful conclusion, offering advice and being willing to check that fixes were properly undertaken. It's also important to stress than when you hire Luke - you hire Luke - not some random person from a large business which sends different people each time and who hassle you for more. He was always contactable whenever the need arose and was happy to pop round to the property to photo items for me when I needed to check on various trades or to help move items as needed. He’s also highly professional in his approach, knowledgeable and retains his craftmanship skills – fitting bespoke interiors to filing drawers for me. He walked me through the entire process, including a visit to the local showroom/factory which is the main supplier. We are now at the end, but Luke is still checking that the final details are completed and that everything is working correctly, right up to the final skip removal and hand back of the property. Quite simply I would not have tackled this project without him. I see him as a friendly face, not just a contractor on hire. I would not hesitate to recommend Luke and LUXE kitchens for your project whether it be just one room or many.

The whole experience was smooth and as easy as could be, I really enjoyed it! From sharing initial design ideas and considering all the options, playing with finishes, colours and cabinet combinations and all the way through to the final installation, Luke was just brilliant. His detailed technical knowledge, aesthetic while practical design suggestions, calmness and patience were so impressive and reassuring. He was available and hands-on throughout, had high attention to detail, always wanting to get everything just right for us. Luke’s design illustrations and plans made it very easy to envisage what our finished kitchen would be like, and looking back their resemblance to the finished installation was amazingly accurate. I would not hesitate to recommend Luke to anyone looking for quality in both design and product. We now have a really fabulous kitchen, Luke had also previously designed a beautiful bedroom for us. Also, and importantly for us, he is a pleasure to work closely with, a genuinely nice and decent person.
