Alison E is an incredibly talented designer with a scrupulous eye for detail. She designed a new bathroom for our Grade II listed house and was thoroughly accommodating to our ideas marrying with her own. During install she made sure to visit at all key points to ensure the exact position of everything was perfect. She made sure the fitter and his team understood the brief and was flexible and quick when changes were needed. She is a pleasure to deal with and is 110% committed to client satisfaction. We were lucky to have her and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I never realised there was so many choices when it comes to having a new kitchen. Potential mine field. The process end to end was easy. From the bigger picture ideas and headline budgets to then working down to details that would deliver to our brief and hit the budget. We did have one issue with some missing part that our developer needed with the install. Annoyingly it had to come from Germany but the team were proactive, apologetic and took accountability (even though in reality it was a mistake at the German supplier end). We got the part in 24 hours. The owner Paul even popped a bottle round to apologise. It was also good to see that on one of our many visits there we overheard the most obnoxious couples (her more than him) next to us. How the sales team managed to stay nice was a masterclass in customer service. We were delighted with the whole experience.

If you’ve ever wanted to spend a fortune for a kitchen that exists mostly in theory, congratulations — you’ve found the perfect place. They’ll dazzle you with glossy drawings and promises, then vanish when it comes time to deliver anything resembling a functioning kitchen. Missing parts? Standard. Communication? Optional. Accountability? Extinct. And should you dare to raise a concern, you’ll be treated to a masterclass in arrogance from their “manager,” who seems to believe customer service is a form of punishment.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The team at Obsidian Cheltenham were a pleasure to work with. From the very start the communication was top notch. Everyone involved worked so hard and were clearly passionate in achieving the result we wanted. The team ensured function and style blended well with all our requirements. It’s a rare find to get a company that matches service along with quality. This excellent service continued from the very start of the initial consultation / design phase right through to our completed kitchen. 10/10 to all involved.
