Particular Kitchens

I've worked with Steve on projects for 10 years ... we've done 2 kitchens, 2 beds ... 2 tables ... 1 sideboard ... a pantry unit. I'm fussy, difficult to work with and have crazy ideas. But we always make it work and got some lovely work together out of it. Absolute talent and always full of good ideas and beautiful designs to mix with your own crazy ones...

Steve understood what we wanted and was more than willing to work with the reclaimed materials and had lots of suggestions for adding the finesse we wanted. The reclaimed Iroko tops and cupboard fronts came from 2 sources and Steve and his team patched up some of the imperfections and finished all of the details to a very high standard. The kitchen went in quickly and the end result was amazing and is aging beautifully.

Steve crafted the most beautiful kitchen for us here in Brighton. We set the bar high, requesting fluted finishes, bespoke handles, and fine details; Steve embraced the brief with enthusiasm, and built it beautifully. He also added elements that we had not considered, such as a hidden corkscrew drawer and handmade timber brackets that make the look unique. He is a meticulous craftsman with an incredible eye for detail. We could not be happier.

We asked Steve to do our kitchen, and all the joinery in our modern flat. His quote was very competitive. His joinery is fantastic - super attention to detail and very high quality work. Its the best I've seen, and I've done several renovation projects. He communicated with us (and our builder) well throughout the project, from the design stage right through to the finish, talking us through the selection of materials and the solutions to various problems. His attention to detail was remarkable. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable. And because everything is bespoke, you don't have juggle round trying to fit standard-sized carcases into non-standard spaces. The results are fantastic. We could not be happier.
