Powell’s are a superb team. I’ve had three bathrooms and three kitchens from Peter and Gary over 25 years and don’t even look elsewhere these days. The level of service and helpfulness (sometimes long after the goods are fitted) is always second to none and the equipment they supply is first-rate too. Not the cheapest but far from the priciest too. Recommend them 100%.

Powell has been a key figure in my life—one of my greatest inspirations and a defining presence on Oxford’s beautiful Crown Road. Just take one look at the stunning plants in the front window, and you’ll know: this is where you'll find your new kitchen.

Tom did a wonderful bathroom refurbishment for us. He is highly skilled! The tiling looks absolutely stunning. He is very professional, taking his work seriously. He managed well the whole process himself. If you want high-quality work, go to Tom. He is an excellent bathroom fitter. We are thrilled with our new bathroom! Tom was introduced to us by Gary of Powells Bathrooms. His products are very good quality. He is another professional businessman and has a good business manner. We were so pleased with these two men. Highly recommended. You can trust them both.

Powell's have just finished our new kitchen and we are delighted. We could not fault their craftsmanship and we are very pleased with end result. There was no mess and they quickly dealt with any adjustments we wanted and followed through to a successful conclusion.

UPDATED They were friendly and helpful with kitchen design, and our kitchen was installed well. They were not cheap, but we felt we were paying for quality. However within a year the surface of our kitchen cabinets started to warp and peel, and two years later it looks appalling. Powells they forwarded our complaint to the cabinet makers who claimed that it is our fault because somehow we allowed them to get wet or didn't dry the cabinets properly. UPDATE Some time later - and after my poor review - Powells did - as they say in their response below - replace the cabinet doors with what appears to be a better quality and at no charge for the doors or fitting - so I am improving my rating as a result.
