Ramsbottom Kitchen Company

Ramsbottom Kitchens were our fourth attempt at getting the kitchen we wanted. My wife and I visited the showroom and with some trepidation said we'd like to proceed. Heather visited us and in one shot completely understood what we wanted our kitchen to look like. Special mention must go to Heather, Steve and Dave...Steve is a fitter from another universe...I've never seen such attention to detail. Heather was brilliant and extremely patient as we changed our minds on so many things. Every time we come into the kitchen in a morning, its like " wow, is this really ours?" The aftercare service is excellent. My kitchen was installed two years ago, I wasn't happy with the how the worktop had been installed. Almost two years after fitting part of it had 'blown'. I called in with photos and the plans for my kitchen and the customer service manager arranged for the contacts manager to pay me a visit. The customer service manager contacted me later that day saying the whole worktop would be replaced. The replacement is a far better job than done originally (the original fitter no longer works for the company). I can finally say I am 100% happy with my kitchen. Thank you.

Our kitchen was finished last September and over 6 months later we are still waiting for a long list of problems to be rectified. Someone from the company visited to look at the issues on 27th October and we have heard nothing since. There are a number of small issues but the worst are handles on wall cupboards dropping and the skirting board having to be hacked back in order for the back door to be closed - see photos. We paid a lot of money for this kitchen and are very disappointed.

The service we received before the fit was excellent. Great designs, friendly service and a decent price considering the quality of the unit/appliances. The problems with Ramsbottom Kitchens comes with its after sales care. It felt like as soon as we'd made payment, the wheels started to fall off. Our kitchen fit began in the last week of April and we received our final part in the last week of July. Not great at all. It felt like pushing water up hill at times trying to find out when things were going to be sorted. We had two room measurings done, one on the initial consultation and one a couple of weeks before the fit. It was therefore a surprise to find that two units were not compatible with the shape of our room. That meant new units had to be made and pushed our completion date back. Ramsbottom Kitchens dealt with the issue quickly but it felt very avoidable. The delay meant that it felt as though we were being squeezed in when the company's busy fitters had a spare moment. The communication of when work was going to happen was quite poor. It required us chasing them which felt like the wrong was round. The fitters were really friendly and capable. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. We were left waiting for a cutlery tray for 8 weeks, which isn't the end of the world but became a source of frustration. This was topped off by it eventually being delivered to a house on a different street altogether. It's difficult to say whether or not I'd recommend Ramsbottom Kitchens. The kitchen they've supplied and fitted is top notch but it shouldn't have taken so long to complete.
