Sophie Louisa Interiors

Sophie was professional and inspirational in helping me turn my house into a home. She worked tirelessly with architects and planning overcoming several hurdles to create a fabulous loft conversion. She would always keep me up to date on the projects progression and helped me to choose interiors when my time was limited. The initial project went so smoothly that I’ve had Sophie and her tradesmen back to work on the rest of the house including; designing and extending a new kitchen, installing new en-suite, wc and outside decking. Her team were always punctual, friendly and good at tidying up. My house now looks and feels great.

I worked alongside Sophie from concept to completion in a full renovation of a garden and parking area in the center Exeter. I work alongside a lot of surveyors, interior designers and arcitects and from our first meeting it was clear that Sophie was professional, organised and really easy to get on with. Any issues or questions I had regarding the project she was always at the end of the phone, usually she had an answer straight away for me or within 24 hours. One thing that stuck out for me was her construction knowledge which in most cases is unusual for an interior designer and it clearly shows that she pays an active interest and is passionate about what she does. I highly recommend Sophie, I enjoyed working with her and I intend on using her services in the near so distance future if required.

I live in a modest house, and two years after my partner died, I felt ready for a change. I wanted to fall in love with my home again and create what I hoped would be my forever home. I wasn’t quite sure where to begin, but then I had a bit of a eureka moment — perhaps thinking slightly outside the box — and decided to look for an interior designer. When I came across Sophie Louisa Interior Designers’ website and met Sophie for the first time, I immediately knew I didn’t need to look any further. Sophie is wonderfully suited to her profession. She has an exceptional eye for design and is completely on her clients’ side. She searches for the best options and sales, visits shops with you, and carefully considers every detail — from fabrics, furniture and paint colours to rugs, plants and pots. She gently encouraged me (and my home) out of our comfort zone, and I truly love the result. Visitors often comment on how peaceful the house feels, which is exactly what I had hoped for. Her dedicated team worked in my home for several weeks. They were a lovely group of people — respectful, considerate, and always pleasant to greet each morning. It was clear they had great respect for Sophie and that they worked together as a united team. As project manager, Sophie visited several times each week and was always available at the end of the phone, which was very reassuring. I can wholeheartedly recommend Sophie and her team. If, like me, you might wonder whether it feels a little extravagant to hire an interior designer for a modest home — but you’re longing for change and inspiration — I would say, do it. “A beautiful home is not measured by its size, but by the love and peace that live within it.”

Superb service from start to finish! Extremely professional, creative and time efficient team! My house has been transformed inside out! Bravo!

We have worked with Sophie on a few projects supplying shutters and other window solutions. She has been great to deal with and we are fortunate to get to see her work first hand. She is incredibly hands on and has a real eye for detail. You will be in safe hands with Sophie.
