Starplan Bedroom Furniture & Kitchens

Starplan Boucher Road Belfast. Not an experience I was aspecting from this company after paying £4500 for fitted bedroom furniture. After visiting the shop and ordering furniture ( big sliding wardrobe and 3 x joined together chest of drawers) which we specifically wanted all at one level, we heard all the excuses that it can not be done from Geoff- ok. Geoff came out to measure for the chest of drawers afterwards. Everything was ok. Then on the day of fitting, the fitters told me that they can not be finished because one unit of chest of drawers can not be closed off at the side because of our sloped ceiling beside window. So work was not completed on time. They came back nearly 3 weeks later to fix the issue- they done everything on this same level like we wanted in the 1st place. We lost one drawer from the top ( which I’m sure was counted in the price and we didn’t receive any money back for it !!!). The build in wardrobe has a huge gap underneath it , which is supported with a piece of wood. I do understand that our floors are not level but the wood could be cut to the shape of the wardrobe 🤷‍♀️ Do not recommend!!!

Yes service is good in Starplan in Glenmachan Street.We had a appointment with Cheryl but were transferred to Danielle as she was dealing with the sales.Both ladies very courteous and accommodating.Fitters Derek and Mark did a fine job fitting wardrobes and cleaned as they went along 2 good hardworking guys and came very punctual as said from the night before great team highly recommended.

I was in the Bangor showroom a few weeks back and dealt with Iain. He was very informative about ranges available , prices everything right done to the littlest finer details. He was very professional in his position and never put any pressure on to get a sale. I will definitely be returning as I was very pleased with my quick and very satisfied with the complete service from start to finish.

Had some bespoke wardrobe work put in, initially very accommodating courtesy sales calls to get us over the line, ' quick buy it before inflation hits sales pitch nonsense - typical stuff from companies like this. Soon as money secured the service dropped, excellent work by the fitters. Top guys, couldn't fault the effort there and end product is nice. Very money grabbing orientated experience, no after install check all was fine and forgot part of the agreement which couldn't be done post install without damaging the work done I was told. Won't be giving any further work.

Went into the showroom and counted 5 staff members with no customers. No one could help us as we didn’t have an appointment yet the 5 staff members continued to chat, with their hands literally in their pockets, as we left. One staff member made us feel like a nuisance as we hadn’t booked an appointment in advance and informed us that nobody could help us without pre-booking an appointment. He didn’t offer to book us an appointment at another time. So if you want to go to a place with unhelpful staff who make you feel uncomfortable go here. We will never be back. If I could rate 0 stars I would.
