Max from Stockbridge Kitchens did an outstanding job installing our new kitchen, and we were delighted with the result. He stuck to the 5-day timeline he gave us and the final cost was exactly as quoted beforehand. Max also coordinated delivery of kitchen units, waste collection, and other tradespeople when needed, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. He worked with great attention to detail, kept everything clean and tidy, and was always easy to communicate with, responding to any questions as soon as possible. We always felt confident that we were in good hands beforehand and throughout the installation and would highly recommend Max to anyone looking for a hardworking and very skilled joiner.

Max was a brilliant person to work with in designing then fitting my new kitchen. I’d moved into the house this summer and found the kitchen very dated, with broken appliances and poor quality cupboards (see first two photos). He helped me clarify the design, proposing several bespoke elements which he built to a very high standard, and suggesting then sourcing the strongly coloured ply when I explained the vision I had for how I wanted it to look. I really valued his advice and expertise and found him great to work with - it has turned out even better than I’d hoped! Max is an excellent communicator and was very efficient and tidy during the build. The other tradesmen he brought on site were all similarly helpful and organised. I particularly valued his flexibility and ability to troubleshoot when required, and he took on some suggested changes and new elements not only with flair but also with good humour. He has great skill not only as a carpenter but also as a designer with a great eye for style and finish. I couldn’t recommend Max more highly and would be delighted to work with him again (on other projects - I won’t be replacing this kitchen for a long time!)

Max produced a beautiful bespoke lounge unit and shelving for us recently. Prior to delivery, he kept us fully up to date with progress, supplied drawings on time and set a realistic deadline which was met. From design to installation, Max was wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to what we wanted and managed to turn our loose ideas into really beautiful, functional designs. We are so happy with the quality and finish - both installations have really exceeded our expectations and we will get so much use out of them for years to come.
