Studio Mac Interiors

Working with Ailsa on the interiors for the Tower at Kirklinton Hall has been nothing short of magical and a real eye opening experience. She brought a vision to life that I could never have imagined myself, especially when it came to colour. Where I would have played it safe, she was bold, instinctive, and completely right. Every room feels thoughtfully layered, and full of personality and we’ve had endless compliments from everyone who walks through the door. We’re already planning to work with her again on the coach house and stables… I can’t wait!

Ailsa at Studio Mac is overseeing the makeover of our 18th century home and has been brilliant. So far entrance hall, bathrooms, bedroom and downstairs cloakroom completed. She has been highly professional but also really easy to work with. Her approach is to start with our ideas and then encourage us to be braver with colour choices etc. Looking forward to the journey continuing.
