The Kitchen Store

We moved into our house 5 months ago and soon decided that the kitchen really needed renovating, although it looked fine, it was not really functional. So we visited several kitchen shops in Guildford and found The Kitchen Store which had the designs were looking for and would include the electrical, plumbing and joinery all required for a new kitchen, unlike other shops we visited. During the planning process we could develop our thoughts on the final design. The schedule for the new kitchen installation was set out and everything went totally according to plan with no delays The kitchen fitter was excellent and extremely knowledgeable and tidy We are delighted with our new kitchen and can thoroughly recommend the Kitchen Store

Giang is amazing! We absolutely love our kitchen! Giang was so welcoming from the moment I wandered into TKS asking for advice. We were having an extension built and Giang was so thorough and detailed from the word go. She was very precise in her measurements and it was evident that quality was at the forefront of her mind. She clearly explained the process and was very patient with us as we looked at various design/colour options. Marin, the kitchen fitter and his brother did an excellent job on fitting. They worked extremely hard over two days and made sure everything was just so. They were polite and respectful to our builders also. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Kitchen Store as a provider!

Finding the right kitchen store and designer can be a challenge. We have renovated a number of kitchens, so are aware of the pitfalls and problems that can arise. Our kitchen was a difficult space and certainly needed a designer who could think outside the box. Before contacting The Kitchen Store we looked at a number of other kitchen stores in Guildford. Most of them just offered cookie cutter designs while only seeing the space from photographs. Giang, the designer from The Kitchen Store made a home visit, looked at the existing kitchen, listened carefully to our requirements for the new kitchen and drew up a plan. Her design was innovative, stylish and above all functional. Giang was involved in the process every step of the way. She made sure the plans were meticulously followed and executed by the builders and installers. The outcome was a wonderful new kitchen finished to a very high standard and meeting all our expectations. The renovation was completed in the time frame which was originally promised. During the renovations we were out of the country but Giang kept us updated with photos and progress reports, and promptly answered any queries. Dealing with The Kitchen Store was efficient and transparent. Giang, the builder Will Way and the installers were a pleasure to work with. They were all efficient and professional. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would like to thank Giang and The kitchen Store for a job well done.
