I cannot recommend The Main Company highly enough. We have just completed a new build house, for which The Main Company did the kitchen - oh, if all the subcontractors could have been as good as them! Absolutely excellent design, first class communication throughout and utter professionalism in delivering us a fantastic quality kitchen. It was astonishing to see our vision for the kitchen be rendered into stunning visuals, and then to see the real thing when it was installed - identical to the visuals provided. Nothing was too difficult for them, even when we wanted a curved island with a curved breakfast bar and curved hanging shelf above - something that a company we had previously approached had said was too difficult to construct. For TMC it was no problem - they found good solutions for all the things we wanted and supplied good sustainable reclaimed wooden shelves and first rate finishes. Tiago was our main contact and he was always an absolute pleasure to deal with, professional, helpful, prompt, collaborative and with a thorough knowledge of all the little problems we might encounter and how to solve them. We are extremely happy with our kitchen and pantry and would 100% recommend The Main Company to anyone who has any kind of joinery-related projects in mind (they don't do JUST kitchens!)

I was looking for a company that could share my vision and bring to fruition my dream. My kitchen is small and I thought Main would not be interested in getting involved. But no, I received the same attentive service as any other customer. Nothing was too much trouble. It became apparent that I knew what I didn't like but didn't know what I really liked. Numerous designs and soooo many colour options but we got there. And the finished kitchen - spectacular. All thanks to Julia and the team of great installers - who knew a small kitchen could be so amazing.

Main designed and created an entire cook school kitchen with various extra preparation rooms. The quality was exceptional - still is after many years and they adhered to the period brief. We are a large Victorian Staley home so the designs involved had to be sympathetic to the building. They sourced amazing materials and advised on paint colours in keeping with the period. I first found this company about 20 odd years ago when I renovated my first home, they made some lovely latch style doors for my Victorian house, happily dispatching them to Hertfordshire. Fast forward 20 years and, having just completed extensive renovations, in yet another Victorian home, this time in London, I was looking for some very unusual, loft style doors, (thank you once again Pinterest!) Having used these guys before, they were my first port of call when looking for something unusual made of reclaimed wood. From the initial email they couldn't have been more helpful. An image from my side was all they needed to let me know, not only could they, but they had already, made several sets of these doors and installed them. Drawings and 3D imagery was duly dispatched for me to check this was what I wanted, images of past projects were also sent over and once I had supplied the measurements, my doors were in production. They sourced Handel's too, coming up with several options before I settled on ones from Buster & Punch. They went above and beyond to ensure these doors were fitted to perfection, making several trips, the not insignificant distance down to London. During the project I also needed their help, once again, when looking for a "stain" to finish my newly refurbished wooden stair case. Again, not only were they able to help but they sent a set of labelled samples down to London to help me choose the colour of this unusual product. It was exactly what I was looking for and something I had drawn a blank trying to find here in London. I couldn't believe it when I opened the parcel to find, not only multiple pots of the product, but also rags to use to test it and even protective gloves! (that really is 5 star service!!) From start to finish, this company has been professional, helpful and has produced the most spectacular set of doors, exactly as I wanted when I first got in touch. If you want anything, slightly unusual, then this is your place, and don't even get me started with how stunning their kitchens are, found too late for my project but Wow!!
