Jake was very helpful in helping me find all the correct supplies for decorating, including paint, good quality brushes and rollers, and even different primers to ensure my paint lasted. Great customer service, very friendly and knowledgeable! Thanks :)

I bought a new bathroom through Wickes, and the experience was exceptionally good from end to end. My designer Helen Lloyd was friendly, very experienced, had great attention to detail, was not pushy, and I felt like she really cared about the end result. The fitters Wickes appointed (ETL Interiors) were very professional, skilled, and took pride in ensuring every element of the job was fully completed to a high standard. I highly recommend both Helen and ETL.

Poor service. Today they should deliver some stuff to my house. I was informed that someone will ring me 30 min before delivery. That amoumt of time is more than I need to to arrive there from my work, but no, driver rang me when he arrived. Guess what he coudnt wait 20 minutes for me so he rescheduled my order for another day.

Wickes in Stevenage is a good store, well sized and plenty to browse, but the shared car park restrictions of only 90 minutes are completely inadequate. As a family with young children, we wanted to shop in both Wickes and The Range (next door) and make purchases, but 90 minutes is not enough time to do so properly. As sadly we received a large parking fine, despite being genuine paying customers. Other retail parks in the area allow up to three hours (with understandably limits to 90 minutes on football match days), so this policy feels unfair and discourages shoppers from spending time and money across both stores, and KFC who also share the same parking area. The store itself is great, but the parking situation seriously lets it down. The partnership should be reviewed.

Visited Stevenage store this week and was blown away by the kitchen and bathroom displays. Very friendly staff and enjoyed meeting Helen, the Design Consultant. Would recommend.
