Absymal quality. Furniture cracked and fell apart within a few months. The company refused to take responsibility and without any evidence claimed it was because water was left sitting on it. It seems it cant handle the slightest bit of condensation (we leave 2 windows open all the time and have a new extractor fan). I have lived in many houses but I've never seen furniture fall apart due to normal use.

Possibly the worst customer service we have ever received from their subsidiary company Faith Furniture, that have no effective public facing customer service. There has now been 8 separate deliveries of our kitchen over a period of 4 months and still have no idea when the remaining parts will be diverted. This has been a nightmare for our kitchen fitter and ourselves. We have called customers service at least a dozen times only to be given false and misleading delivery dates along with promises to call back that do not materialise. A complete shambles.

Lack of communication and poor quality control. Ordered a unit two weeks ago for installation on the 17th, but it wasn’t even dispatched and we only found out after chasing them. When it finally arrived 1.5 weeks later, it had cracks and large gaps between panels. Requested a replacement on Wednesday and rebooked the job for the 24th. Again, no updates until we followed up, only to be told the new unit won’t arrive until “sometime next week.” Very disappointing service and product quality. Avoid.

I have recently purchased some “Ultimo” high end Calypso bathroom furniture. The models I saw were well finished and the quality seemed good, so I was a little surprised to learn that when they say “push to open” facility, which helps to “preserve the clean, uncluttered lines” that this seems to be at the expense of practical use….the issue is that the door does operate as above, but the opening it leaves you is small, just enough so you can squeeze your fingers in….but sadly there is just enough effort required to pull the drawer open to split my wife’s finger nail on the first day we used it. I did ask the fitter to come back and double check that this was the correct hinge and to double check he has installed it properly, but he said yes….and I have used him for the other bathrooms (also Calypso) and he does know his stuff. I give them 2 stars because it looks great, but I think those doors will mean years of frustration because they are simply not engineered well enough for daily use….form over function springs to mind.

Calypso Bathrooms Review (Woodco Group T/A Woodstock Trading Company): Having ordered two different sets of Calypso bathroom furniture, I am disappointed with their Quality Control, especially considering the HUGE cost for a "premium" product. Countless gloss-fronted cabinet doors and bath panels arrived with scratches right through the protective film, straight out of the box. After returning via the merchant, the replacements we received were in an even worse condition. In the end we had to buff out the scratches with a solvent cleaner. As usual, made in the UK translates to super expensive, super careless manufacturing/packaging for super average products. At 4x to 10x the price of high street retailers, this just is not worth the money.
