After 12 years we decided we needed to replace our old kitchen and we spend several weeks visiting showrooms around York trying to decide not only what kitchen style we wanted, but who we felt we could trust to fit our kitchen. York Kitchens was recommended to us by friends and we were delighted from the start with the level of service from Gareth helping us to design the right kitchen for us. He helped keep us within budget but also recommended some great features and design that we felt would make the kitchen special. What we also liked about York Kitchens was they sorted everything out and we didn’t need to worry about finding a builder to fit the kitchen. For us this was important as we didn’t want the extra hassle of multiple trades to arrange. It took around 4 weeks in total for the installation and we are so happy with the finished work. Chris the fitter was excellent and we were so pleased with his work. He also helped us refine some ideas during the installation to make it even better. I’m sure their other fitters are great, but if you get a chance ask for Chris! Overall really pleased with our kitchen and with York Kitchens. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience working with York Kitchens when we needed a new kitchen following an extension. We had looked at local hand crafted kitchens, the usual high street kitchen brands as well as DIY options. York Kitchens stood out from them all. Their expertise and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. We already had a good idea of the layout we wanted but Gareth suggested tweaks which we had asked others about and been told wouldn’t be possible. He also suggested a design feature that neither we nor other companies has thought of. It was ultimately what made York Kitchens stand out from the other companies we had considered. We were even more pleasantly surprised by their quote when considering the quality of their kitchens and materials. Every steps of the process was handled with professionalism and care and they completed the project in a timely manner. We are thrilled with our kitchen and would highly recommend York Kitchens to anyone seeking exceptional service and quality craftsmanship.

After a brief visit to the York showroom was impressed by the quality of the kitchen displays and warm greeting. I decided my default beige Barratt kitchen was desperately in need of replacement. I asked Gareth if he could design me a kitchen to suit my needs with only a budget of £10k. He said he could but would have to recommend a cheaper manufacturer than the displays. I went back a few days later for a wonderful presentation. He had captured exactly what I was looking for. So went for it with a couple of minor upgrades. Nick the joiner project managed the job perfectly with all trades. Was a pleasure to have him around. The installation was completed on time and having a past in joinery myself was very impressed with the carcass quality and overall finish. Now that the decorating is finished and the new flooring down I just love sitting in this environment listening to my favourite playlists with a nice glass of wine. Thank you York Kitchens and in particular Gareth and Nick. Just keep doing what you do.

We used York Kitchens to design and supply our kitchen and utility room and we are extremely happy with the results. They listened to what we wanted, gave good honest advice, and were respectful of our budget. They worked hard to accommodate our needs and make the most of the space available. Their aftercare was also very good - a faulty tap was swiftly replaced and some missing touch-up paint was quickly chased up. We do not hesitate to recommend York Kitchens.
